What is Paint & Nibble?
Paint & Nibble is a fun art studio for anyone interested in painting! In our classes we use acrylic paints on a 11x14 or 12x16 inch canvas (unless otherwise stated) and teach the class step by step how to complete the specific painting for the day. Most of our guests have no painting experience and all of them have great success!
How does this work?
Visit PaintandNibble.com and click on “Events & Classes” image. Select the event you want and follow the instructions.
On the date of the event, arrive 10-15 minutes early to settle in and feel free to serve yourself the appetizer for the night. The artist instructor will start right on time and guide the whole class on how to complete the specific painting. Bring your drinks and snacks to enjoy during class if you like.
How much does it cost?
Most classes are $30 person unless otherwise specified.
Can I just paint whatever I want?
If you want to do your own thing and be a maverick go for it, but there will not be step by step guidance on how to complete it. We won’t be able to give much advice on your maverick painting either as we are helping other students on how to complete the scheduled painting. We will provide step by step instructions for the scheduled painting.
How do I sign up a group to attend a Paint & Nibble event?
Visit PaintandNibble.com and then either select the number of seats you want to reserve for the specific class online and pay online OR ask everyone in your group to reserve individually online and to specify group name or point person in the "Order comments" box after you click "Checkout" button.
Do I have to make a reservation?
Yes, you have to make a reservation. If there are no reservations for a class, we may cancel the class.. We set up a painting station for each person. Please make a reservation so we can set up for you and have you seated appropriately with your group if you are joining one.
When will you be doing (insert painting name) again?
If there is a painting you really want to do, email us at email@example.com and we can work out a private party date for you. We have many paintings that we rotate through. We love to hear what your requests are.
Can I bring something to drink other than wine? What kind of food/snacks can I bring?
Sure! You can bring any alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverage to enjoy during class. You can bring any food or snacks. Some common snacks people bring in are cheese and crackers, chips and dip, fruit tray, veggie tray, chocolate, cookies etc. You can even order pizza, we don't mind!
Can I stop in anytime and paint?
Right now we don’t have open studio time, but are planning an Open Studio for the 2nd Saturday of each month for spring 2019. We hold classes at specific times and those are the only times guests can come in and paint. To join a class, visit PaintandNibble.com, select a painting you like and register online or call us to reserve with a credit card number.
Can kids come to class too?
Our classes are intended to be an adult getaway to relax and have time to themselves or socialize with their friends. We allow ages 15 and up to our regular classes. Contact us to schedule a kids event!
Will my painting be dry at the end of the night?
Yes, if there are a few damp places we have hair dryers which will dry them quickly.
What do you provide?
We provide everything that is needed to paint: canvas, easel, paint, brushes, apron, and appetizer. We also provide wine openers, cups, plates and napkins.
What do I wear?
Wear whatever is comfortable and that you don't mind if a little paint gets on it. We do supply aprons, but if you by chance get paint on your clothes and it dries, it will not come out. If you catch it while it's still wet you can usually get it out with some soap and water.
What if I'm late? Can I still paint?
If you are late to class, you will not get instructions to catch up. Arrive 15-20 minutes early to get uncorked, smocked, and in your seat! Painting will begin promptly at the time listed. Paint & Nibble is more than just a painting; it's a step-by-step experience! Arriving late to your session will not allow you or your fellow classmates the best possible experience.
What is your refund policy?
There are no refunds, but your ticket can be transferred into another Paint & Nibble event with available seating.
Zenendipity reserves the right to cancel classes for unforeseen circumstances. Registrants will be notified at least 24 hours prior to class time unless an unforeseen emergency has occurred. Refunds will be processed thereafter.
The studio is BYOB. Any type of drinks and food are welcome.
Classes are for ages 15 and up unless specified otherwise. Must be 21 and up to consume alcohol. No infants or toddlers allowed in adult classes.
